White Dari is a great, high protein particle used by many anglers.
When it has been prepared properly they can be put into a river swim, or the margins of a lake and they will emit a rather potent scent that will waft downstream or with the undertow to pull in fish from further afield.
Bait tip: Soak the dari in water for 12 hours in a sealed container. Bring to the boil and then simmer for 30 minutes. Using a pressure cooker has the advantage of retaining more of the natural scent.
Keep an eye on the bait to make sure that the dari is covered in water at all times and check that it is softening but not breaking up. After boiling leave to stand for a few hours.
